Christina Miller, MD, FACEP, is board-certified in emergency and integrative
medicine. After spending ten years in the emergency department and serving as president of Colorado ACEP (American College of Emergency Physicians), she radically changed her practice to health promotion, due to her own health concerns and being overwhelmed by the amount of chronic disease and illness seen in the ED.

Rizwan Bukhari, MD:
The Connection of Lifestyle and Breast Cancer

Rizwan H. Bukhari, M.D., F.A.C.S., grew up in Dallas, Texas, before attending Johns Hopkins University, followed by medical school at UT Southwestern Medical School. He did his five year general residency in Dallas, and then did a two year fellowship in Vascular Surgery in Cincinnati, Ohio. There, Dr. Bukhari received specialized training in advanced minimally invasive procedures. He has been practicing vascular surgery in Dallas for more than twenty years. His primary hospital is Baylor Sunnyvale, where he formerly was the Chief of Surgery. Currently, he serves on their Board of Directors and Board of Managers and is Chief of Staff of the hospital.

The Connection Between Dairy and Breast Cancer

Dr. Roxanne George is a board-certified Pediatrician and is certified in Plant-based nutrition through eCornell. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she was involved in research projects involving, viral research, cystic fibrosis research and transposon or “jumping gene” studies. Then she decided to pursue her medical degree and graduated from American University of the Caribbean and completed her residency at NYU-Winthrop University Hospital. After moving to Texas, she started to have an overwhelming number of obese patients asking for her advice on diet and eating. She completed her certification in Plant-based Nutrition from eCornell in 2016.

Using Foods to Control the Hormones that Drive Breast Cancer

Neal Barnard, MD, FACC, is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and President of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. As president of the Physicians Committee, Dr. Barnard leads programs advocating for preventive medicine, good nutrition, and higher ethical standards in research. His research contributed to the acceptance of plant-based diets in the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. In 2015, he was named a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. In 2016, he founded the Barnard Medical Center in Washington, DC, as a model for making nutrition a routine part of all medical care.

Dr. Bandana Chawla is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. She graduated from UT Southwestern Medical School and completed her residency training at the Texas Medical Center. She has been practicing as an internist in the Houston area for over 20 years. Dr. Munish Chawla is a board certified physician in Diagnostic Radiology and Lifestyle Medicine. A long time practitioner of meditation and yoga, he adopted a plant based lifestyle in 2013.

Dr. Yolanda C. Wade is a magna cum laude graduate of Spelman College. Dr. Wade received her M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- New Jersey Medical School. She completed her post-graduate clinical education at the Beth Israel Residency in Urban Family Medicine (Beth Israel Medical Center) in collaboration with the Institute for Urban Family Health in New York City. As Medical Director of inspire health associates, Dr. Wade has been recognized since 2009 as a top doctor by Atlanta Tribune in the annual Best of Atlanta honors for Health and Wellness.

Lee Crosby, RD, LD, is the Nutrition Education Program Manager with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and practices clinical dietetics at the Barnard Medical Center. Lee enjoys using plant-based nutrition to help patients lose weight in a body-positive way, prevent and reverse diabetes and heart disease, ease women’s health issues, and reduce breast cancer risk.

Greg Feinsinger, MD
The Relationship of Ultra Processed Foods to Breast Cancer
Saturday, October 17th, 2020 – 2:00 pm Eastern Time the US.
Dr. Feinsinger graduated from Aspen High School in 1959, and received a B.A. in political science from Oberlin College, in Oberlin, Ohio, in 1963. He received his M.D. from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, in Denver, in 1968, followed by a rotating internship at San Joaquin County Hospital, in Stockton, California, from 1968 to 1969. From 1969 to 1971 he served in the Indian Health Service, in Fort Hall, Idaho. He completed a family practice residency at Community Hospital of Sonoma County, affiliated with the University of California San Francisco, in 1973. The same year he joined Glenwood Medical Associates in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where he practiced family medicine for forty-two years, retiring in 2015.
